NIBP cuffs
NIBP (Non-Invasive Blood Pressure) cuffs are essential accessories used in patient monitoring systems to measure blood pressure safely and accurately without inserting any devices into the body.
Product Overview
NIBP Cuff is a pneumatic cuff that wraps around a patient’s arm, leg, or thigh and inflates to temporarily restrict blood flow in the artery. The monitor then detects pressure changes to calculate systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure (MAP).
It is widely used in hospitals, clinics, ambulances, and diagnostic centers as part of vital signs monitoring systems.
Key Features
Compatible with most patient monitoring systems
Available in multiple sizes (neonatal to adult and thigh)
Soft, durable bladder for patient comfort
Strong Velcro fastening for secure placement
Latex-free material options for safety
Reusable or disposable options depending on use case
Color-coded sizing for easy identification
How It Works
The cuff inflates to apply controlled pressure on the arm, briefly stopping blood flow. As it slowly deflates, sensors in the monitor detect arterial pulsations. These signals are then processed to determine blood pressure values.
Applications
Hospital patient monitoring
Emergency and ambulance care
Operating rooms and recovery wards
Clinics and outpatient diagnostics
Home healthcare monitoring
