Breathing Bags
Breathing bags, also known as reservoir bags, are an essential component of veterinary anesthesia breathing systems. They act as a flexible gas reservoir that stores oxygen and anesthetic gases during the respiratory cycle, ensuring a continuous and stable supply of gas to the patient during spontaneous or controlled ventilation.
During exhalation, the bag fills with excess gas from the anesthesia circuit, and during inhalation it supplies additional volume when patient demand exceeds fresh gas flow. This helps maintain consistent ventilation, supports manual bagging when required, and provides a clear visual indicator of respiratory rate and depth throughout the procedure.
Designed for use in veterinary anesthesia systems, breathing bags are available in multiple sizes to suit different patient weights and clinical applications. They are made from flexible, medical-grade materials that allow controlled expansion and reliable performance under continuous use in surgical and diagnostic settings.
